This is Alyssa and I just got married to a wonderful man, Nick, at a wedding ceremony with over 150 guests.  It was a wonderful wedding, but getting prepared for the bride wedding speech was nerve wracking for me (and I would bet most brides-to-be).  I fretted over what to say and how to prepare a bride speech that wouldn’t bore the guests into a coma and would get my feelings across at the same time.

This is when I searched the internet for some tips on preparing my speech.  I found a few helpful tips and a really good resource that brought it all together for me.  I just followed a bride wedding speech example and was able to complete my speech quickly with a format that made it easy to include all the words and feelings I wanted to express.    My speech went over great with the guests and I was quite happy with their reaction.  Because I know that I was not alone in stressing out over writing my wedding speech, I thought that sharing the tips and resources I found would help other brides to avoid the anxiety of preparing their speech for their own special day!
